Our friends at Earth Fed Muscle have created a fantastic Workout Program For Travelers. We’ve reviewed it at The Athleticus and think it’s comprehensive, adaptable and user friendly, with excellent demonstration videos and it even includes some new moves I have not seen or heard of before (The Scott Press, anyone?) I am going to NY in July for a family visit and plan on trying it out there. If you aren’t yet a client of The Athleticus and so do not have a comprehensive travel workout plan made just for you, try this one. Often times, people are not sure what to do with limited equipment and weird scheduling that travel entails, so workouts mae for travel are helpful.
RIPPED ON THE ROAD PROGRAM
Is your travel schedule impacting your ability to achieve your fitness goals? Don’t let your fitness fade with this program designed to keep the active traveler on schedule and on pace to smash big workouts! Whether you have access to a hotel gym, or simply the hallway and a small room, this program will keep you feeling ripped on the road.
At The Athleticus, we create tailored home workouts for each client. We take into account the client’s goals, time availability and equipment. So, we have written 15 minute bodyweight workouts that can be done in the stairwell of a hospital for an ER physician on call as well as hour-long workouts for clients who have access to a big box gym or a few odds and ends at home. We focus on each person’s abilities, progression and overall fitness plan when creating home workouts and make sure that they integrate fully into the overall personal training plan for each client.
HEALTH AND GENERAL FITNESS IS A LONG TERM JOURNEY
Dane Miller, who designed this program, is a USA Weightlifting International Team coach. He is a co-founder of Earth Fed Muscle. Dane coaches primarily in Olympic Weightlifting and Track and Field, but has been the strength coach for athletes in sports from wrestling to swimming to basketball. Dane has been recognized for his athletes’ stellar successes – including state champions, national champions, and Olympians – with the Larry Barnholth Award for Coaching Excellence. When Dane isn’t coaching, you might find him feeding his chickens and pigs with his wife Caitlin, and a couple of his four children.
“As a USA Weightlifting coach, I know how overwhelming it can be to evolve and grow. Before you start, set goals and develop simple daily rituals. You will encounter obstacles as you adopt this program, and your rituals will help you start the day and transition into your workouts. Consistently recording your progress in this program will help you achieve your strength and fitness goals, and evolve your life habits. Success will follow consistency! Review your goals regularly to maintain focus, and recognize your accomplishments to keep your journey exciting.” -Dane Miller
