Here at The Athleticus, we know that everybody is different and we make sure your experience reflects that. Every workout is tailored to your unique needs and goals. In order to do this, we must establish your baseline fitness level by conducting a complete 360 assessment. This is a deep dive into your current levels of strength, mobility and balance. The assessment consists of two 50-minute sessions and will feel like a moderate workout for most people. We are 100% confident that you can do it and we are with you every step of the way!
Let's Get Started
Your first session will begin with a body composition analysis using the extremely sophisticated InBody 570 scanner. This device is much more than a traditional scale. It measures your muscle mass, hydration, metabolic rate, visceral body fat, muscle imbalances, and more. You are more than just a number on a scale and this device shows us that in incredible detail. We conduct this test at the beginning of each month to consistently track your progress and gains. After a short review and discussion of your InBody results, we start moving!
Learn Technique
The Athleticus has an extremely high coaching standard of all our personal trainers, and we are very focused on ensuring our clients are learning and training with proper positioning and technique. We take the time to improve and elevate each of our members’ fitness knowledge and education every single day. We want you to reach a point of proficiency and confidence quickly, and our goal is to empower you to workout independently for life. So, we work together to set you up for success and make you feel like a valued member of our community. This not only minimizes injury, it makes training much more fun and effective, which will get your confidence level to go up through the roof!
It's OK to Modify
Session 1 will break down the six foundational movement patterns and assess your proficiency in a variety of exercises. This is where we discover your strengths, highlight areas of improvement, and determine any limitations you may have. Once we have established your current fitness level, we can start to push! Session 2 is more of a traditional workout where we begin to load each exercise and challenge your endurance with more repetitions. All the major lifts and movements will be taught from your current ability level with an emphasis on technical proficiency. We want to give you an excellent introduction to the fundamental strength and conditioning movements which you will build upon and improve.
We Track Your Progress
Your progress and success will be accurately monitored. We track your progress using some good old fashioned notes, as well as the incredibly sophisticated InBody body composition analyzer, which measures your muscle mass, hydration, limb symmetry, visceral body fat and balance. You’ll always be able to see your progress and gains.
